at the Lambeti Summer Theater, TARATSA
Friday, July 3
Following their successful performances throughout Greece and Cyprus, the two beloved artists, Yiannis Dionysiou and Yiannis Papageorgiou are coming to treat us to a magical evening at the Lambeti Terrace on Friday, July 3!
At “Lakouva,” in addition to the new songs from their self-titled album, we’ll have the chance to hear their favorite selections from the Greek repertoire, as well as songs from their own discography.
Yiannis Dionysiou, one of the most prominent performers of Greek music, stands out for his rare talent. He has already collaborated on numerous major projects with renowned artists, and he “captivates” the stage while respecting his audience, treating them to unique musical performances.
Yiannis Papageorgiou has proven himself through his existing discography, both as a composer, lyricist, and arranger of his own songs, as well as a singer with his own distinctive style of performance. He is considered one of the most important singer-songwriters of his generation, having left his own distinctive mark.
For several years now, the two artists have distinguished themselves through their careers in Greek music, and the public eagerly anticipates their joint live performances.
“This album is a reflection of a friendship that has lasted fifteen years. Eleven songs I wrote for Yannis’s voice. They capture our celebrations, our get-togethers, our worries, our joys, and our setbacks. The potholes we fell into—and from which we got back on our feet again.”

“The songs on *Lakouva* reflect, among other things, a long-standing friendship, an artistic quest, and the concerns we share with Yannis. Thank you for this gift!”
