Mikro Horn Theater

Mikro Horn Theater

Information

The Mikro Horn Theater, as its name suggests, is the little brother of the Dimitris Horn Theater and is located right next to it, on Amerikis Street.

It is a small but, in reality, “great” theater because of the important and successful productions it has hosted. It was founded in 1961 by theater entrepreneur Vangelis Leivadas under the name “Amiral,” and before opening its doors as a theater, it operated as a movie theater for a short time.

Its stage has hosted major works from the Greek and international repertoires, starring leading figures of Greek theater.

The theater is located in the Kolonaki neighborhood, which offers easy access to hotels and restaurants. The Plaka neighborhood is within walking distance, allowing visitors to get a taste of the city center.

The Acropolis and the historic center are very close by, and you can visit them on foot.
