Dimitris Horn Theater

The theater, named after the unforgettable Dimitris Horn, is located on Amerikis Street, almost directly across from CityLink.

This is a renaming of the Dionysia Theater, which opened in the 1950s and has hosted performances by major figures of Greek theater such as: Aliki Vougiouklaki, Dimitris Papamichail, Dimitris Horn, Elli Lambeti, Kostas Hatzichristos, Lambros Konstantaras, Jenny Karezi, and their theater companies.

This theater the Dimitris Horn Award ceremony is also held; the awards have been presented without fail since 2000 and were established by Stamatis Fasoulis in memory of the actor.

Major productions have been staged there, reinforcing the audience’s perception of the high artistic standards of the works presented there.
