Protergia Protergia, as part of its sponsorship of the Athens Theaters, carried out a highly successful audience engagement campaign using a photo booth at the IBI Theater. A specially designed, branded photo booth was set up in the lobby, where audience members could have their picture taken before the show or during intermission, choosing from themed backdrops and frames featuring the Protergia logo and colors.

The photos were sent directly to the participants’ cell phones or email addresses, and through a built-in QR code, they could enter contests to win invitations or other prizes.

The action:

  • It generated a high level of engagement and fostered a positive connection between the audience and the brand.
  • It boosted Protergia’s digital presence, as many of the photos were shared on social media.
  • It served as anexperience point ” that enhanced the theater outing with an element that was both entertaining and communicative.

This particular project serves as a prime example of how a brand can engage a theater audience in a way that is immersive, effective, and fully in tune with the venue’s atmosphere.
