As part of Stages Network’s Theatre Talks series, actor Dimitris Mamiou discusses Yannis Tsirou’s play “Wild Seed,” directed by Sofia Karagianni, which is being presented at the Mikro Horn Theater.
Dimitris plays the role of Takis, a police officer trying to climb the social ladder in a small-town community. Through his character, the story highlights social pressures, the search for “good” and “evil,” the conflict with the system, and the human struggle to find meaning and stability in a world that often limits him or leads him to dead ends.
In the video, the actor analyzes how the play addresses people’s daily struggles, social norms, and the limits of freedom and justice.
