SUMMER TOUR

How much is a minister actually worth?

How did Salome Robarts ultimately die?

Has he set it up at Thermopylae?

What kind of shoes does a wife wear on her wedding anniversary?

“Heels in the Marsh, the new play by Akis Dimou, a pop political comedy, opens on June 2 at the Terrace of the Lambeti Theater. It is directed by Manolis Dounias and Aimilios Cheilakis.

On the (political) stage of the theater: Aimilios Cheilakis, Athina Maximou, Marianna Toumasatou, Alekos Syssovitis, Dimitris Filippidis.

A few words about the performance:

A minister, his wife, and a leading figure in the Official Opposition. An eccentric, ambitious writer and a rising, equally ambitious journalist. A passionate (so they say) love affair that some cannot forget and others do not want to remember. A wedding anniversary that turns into a farce, a pile of dirty laundry that comes to light (but there’s no water to wash it), and the public life of a country that, in other is at risk of other things as well It’s burning. And all this while everyone is waiting for the Prime Minister to arrive at the reception any moment now.

A colorful pop comedy about the gray areas of politics (and more).
