At Athenian Theaters, we design and implement tailor-made special activations that enhance the audience’s experience and create unique touchpoints between the brand and the public. In collaboration with the advertiser or their advertising agency, we develop solutions based on creativity, functionality, and interactivity.

Suggested specific actions:

  • Branded Wi-Fi Hotspots: Providing free wireless internet access to attendees with a built-in branded login page and the ability to collect data or redirect users to a campaign via a QR code.
  • Photo Booth with Digital Activation: Creation of a themed photo booth in the reception area, featuring branded frames, the option to send photos to the user’s email or mobile phone, and entry into a contest via a QR code or microsite. Participants can win gifts or special offers from the brand.
  • Branded Mobile Charging Stations: Installation of stylish charging spots with charging ports and brand visibility, serving the audience before the show and during intermissions.
  • Sampling & Sales at the Bar: Special agreements for the placement, display, and promotion of food and beverage products (coffee, snacks, beverages) in theater bars, with the additional option of branded service (glasses, napkins, etc.).
  • Placement of QR Codes at Strategic Locations: The public can scan QR codes (e.g., on seats, at entrances, at bars, or on printed programs) to enter contests, receive offers, or go directly to the brand’s landing page.
  • Exclusive Use of Products for Daily Operations: Brand promotion through products used on theater premises (e.g., hand sanitizers, soaps, paper towels), accompanied by branding and prominently displayed.
  • Promotion of Technological Equipment: Installation and exclusive use of technology products (e.g., monitors, tablets, projection systems), with simultaneous brand exposure in lobbies, entrances, and information desks.

Special activations create a lively and dynamic dialogue between the brand and the audience, strengthening the connection with the audience through an immersive experience.

The advantage of these initiatives is that they transform the theater space into a multidimensional medium of communication, offering high engagement and measurable results.

A typical case study of such an initiative was carried out at the IBI Theater, with the installation of an interactive photo booth by Protergia, which served as a major attraction for the audience. Visitors had their photos taken against themed backdrops, received their photos immediately, and participated in contests.
