Thanasis Zeritis: “In this production, we all worked together to create something fresh and new.”

Thanasis Zeritis, director of the play “CAKE,” takes us on a tour of the world of apartment buildings, noises, neighbors, and human relationships that come to life on stage. He talks to us about the concept of loneliness, isolation, and how the characters in the play find ways to coexist and communicate, while life goes on around them.

With a script by Vangelis Hatzigiannidis and music by Spyros Grammenos, the play combines humor, emotion, and everyday truths, creating a theatrical work full of light, sound, and realism. The play is being performed at the Emporikon Theater and is a bittersweet comedy about human conflicts, prejudices, and the small, everyday moments that shape our lives.
