Information on Sweepstakes & Promotions

The Athenian Theaters are organizing a raffle and contest via social media to give away free tickets to their theater performances. Each relevant drawing is governed by the following terms and conditions, which each participant accepts unconditionally.

  1. Only individuals are eligible to participate in the drawing/contest. If the winners are minors (under 18 years of age), the written consent of their parents or legal guardians is required to accept the tickets. If a parent or guardian expressly refuses to allow the minor to participate in the contest, the minor’s participation is considered invalid. All employees of the Athenian Theaters, as well as their spouses and relatives up to the second degree, are excluded from the drawing/contest. In addition, each participant must maintain an authentic profile on the social media platform “Instagram” or any other selected social media platform with a unique username that complies with the terms of use.
  2. Entries that are obscene, vulgar, threatening, or offensive, that contain pornographic material, or that originate from a user profile containing such material, are discriminatory, or infringe on the rights of third parties will be disqualified from the respective contest. Furthermore, Athens Theaters reserves the right to take further action regarding such submissions and/or to remove material that is deemed offensive or infringes on the rights of third parties. In that case as well, each participant will be disqualified.
  3. Only one entry per person will be considered valid, provided that it includes the participant’s full information and is submitted by the specified deadline for the drawing. If the same person has entered the drawing/contest in more than one way or on more than one occasion, only the most recent entry containing their complete information will be considered valid.
  4. The prize—a ticket—is determined based on the announcement for each specific contest. Each ticket may be picked up only by the winner or winners, if there are more than one. The prize cannot be transferred to a third party and cannot be returned. Each prize—ticket is strictly personal and may not be sold or exchanged. It is hereby clarified that it is expressly prohibited to conduct a lottery or contest for tickets to performances at the Athenian Theaters by any person, through any medium, and in any manner. Athens Theaters reserves the right to claim compensation for any actual or consequential (material or non-material) damages, as well as for any emotional distress it may suffer as a result of a breach of these terms.
  5. The “buy one, get one free” ticket offer does not apply to VIP seats and is valid exclusively for all other seat categories. The user is required to complete the reservation through the partner platform and ensure that the quote has been calculated correctly before finalizing the transaction. In the event that the offer is not applied or any error occurs during the booking process, the user bears sole responsibility, and Athenian Theaters assumes no liability for any damages, direct or indirect, that may result from the incorrect use of the offer.
  6. The Cyber Monday sale on December 2, 2024, is valid exclusively for 24 hours, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., and applies to all seats and tickets for performances through December 20, 2024.
