As part of the Theatre Talks<\/strong> series, actor Dimitris Kouroubalis<\/strong> discusses the wild comedy *The Robbery of Symfora* (The Comedy About a Bank Robbery)<\/strong>, directed by Nikorestis Haniotakis<\/strong>, which is being presented for the second consecutive year at the Lambeti Theater<\/strong>.<\/p>

The performance, based on the globally successful formula created by Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer, and Henry Shields<\/strong>, combines physical theater, acrobatics, live music, special effects, and improvisation, creating an experience full of twists and turns and unpredictable situations.<\/p>

Dimitris Kouroubalis refers to the physical intensity of the performance, the synchronization required of all the actors, and the unique experience of an audience that laughs continuously for two hours, enhancing the magic of theater. He emphasizes the constant need to ensure the comedic effect, as every performance is unique and different. <\/p>

The story of the play takes place in Athens in 1958<\/strong> and revolves around an attempt to steal a huge diamond from a small bank, carried out by a group of completely incompetent thieves and desperate employees. The twists and turns and unpredictable situations make \u201cThe Robbery of Misfortune\u201d one of the most entertaining shows of the year. <\/p>
