Stamatis Fasoulis<\/strong> returns with the hilarious comedy \u201cThe Right, the Left, and Mr. Pantelis<\/strong>, \u201d<\/strong> which is running for a second year at the Mikro Pallas<\/strong>. In his interview, Fasoulis shares his own perspective on the play and the experience of reviving a historic comedy that premiered in 1946.<\/p>

He explains that the play is part of a trilogy and refers to the particular challenge<\/strong> of presenting a comedy set against the backdrop of such recent dramatic events in Greek history\u2014from the Liberation, the December Uprising, to the Treaty of Varkiza. He emphasizes how the writers Sakellarios and Giannakopoulos<\/strong> engaged in a \u201csecret dialogue with the audience\u201d that required skill to convey the message through humor, even under difficult conditions of censorship. <\/p>

Fasoulis talks about his personal approach to the show, the joy of working with his team<\/strong>, how the audience can laugh heartily while also discovering the historical dimension<\/strong> of Mr. Pantelis\u2019s family, as well as the significant experience of taking the play on tour for the first time.<\/p>
