As part of Stages Network\u2019s Theatre Talks series, actress Peggy Trikalioti discusses her role in the contemporary play \u201cI See You \u201d (The Counter) by American playwright Meghan Kennedy, directed by Vicky Volioti, at the Mikro Pallas Theater, starting October 14, every Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The renowned actress emphasized that her participation in the play is a \u201cbeloved experience,\u201d as she is working alongside two of her favorite colleagues. She described the play as \u201clight and airy\u201d and \u201cfull of humanity\u201d\u2014a work that is both comical and touching, a tender story of everyday life. <\/p>\n

Regarding the story, here\u2019s the setup: every morning at a local caf\u00e9 in a small town, a waitress (Kate), played by Peggy Trikalioti, refills the coffee mug of a regular customer (Paul), played by Theodoros Atheridis. Every now and then, Paul\u2019s ex-girlfriend, Peg, played by Vicky Volioti, also stops by the caf\u00e9. Paul is trying to make his way in this big, tough world. Kate is a woman who wants to make a fresh start. <\/strong>Peg still loves Paul, and Paul loves Peg, too. What happens when the<\/strong> <\/strong>Paul <\/strong>Is she asking Kate for a shocking favor?<\/strong> And what will happen when Kate finds out that Peg is Paul\u2019s true love? An unexpected friendship blossoms, and everyone\u2019s deepest secrets are brought to light. <\/p>\n

Three people who love and are loved. Who laugh but also cry. With their mistakes and evasions. Sometimes bright, sometimes dark. Just like everyone else, with small and big secrets they haven\u2019t confessed. <\/p>\n
