Errikos Litsis talks with Nikos Thrasyvoulos about his role in the play \u201cCAKE\u201d by Vangelis Hatzigiannidis<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, which is being staged at the Emporikon Theater<\/span><\/span><\/strong> starting Friday, October 10, directed by Thanasis Zeritis<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, for the 2025\u20132026 theater season.<\/p>\n

In his interview, he highlights the unique character of the play, the rhythm of the on-stage narrative, and the tension created through everyday, almost familiar situations. \u201cCAKE\u201d begins with a disagreement in an apartment building and gradually reveals deeper layers of human relationships, social stereotypes, and internal conflicts. <\/p>\n

Through a mini-tenants\u2019 meeting and a process reminiscent of an informal trial, the play sheds light on prejudices and rigid attitudes, as well as the potential for understanding and coexistence. With humor, tenderness, and underlying tension, the performance transforms the simple into the essential and the everyday into a profoundly human commentary. <\/p>\n
