\n The contemporary play \u201cI See You<\/strong> ” (The Counter) by American playwright Meghan Kennedy is directed by Vicky Volioti and will be presented at the Mikro Pallas Theater starting October 14, every Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>
\n <\/p><\/p>\r\n<\/blockquote>\r\n
\n Starring:<\/strong> Theodoros Atheridis, Peggy Trikalioti\u2014who are appearing together on stage for the first time\u2014and Vicky Volioti.<\/p>
\n <\/p>
\n This is a tender work that, with clever humor and a great deal of truth, addresses all the things we\u2019re afraid to talk about and that one moment when we decide to share them with someone else.<\/p>
\n <\/p>
\n Secrets, relationships, and conflicts unfold through the lives of three people who try to stand up to one another and, ultimately, to themselves; and when the truth comes to light, nothing is the same as before.<\/p>
\n <\/p>
\n The play premiered off-Broadway in New York City in the fall of 2024, directed by the award-winning David Cromer (Tony Award, Obie Award, Lucille Lortel Award, etc.) by the Roundabout Theater Company.<\/p>

\n Every morning at a local caf\u00e9 in a small town, a waitress (Kate) fills a regular customer\u2019s (Paul\u2019s) coffee mug. Every now and then, Paul\u2019s ex-girlfriend, Peg, stops by the caf\u00e9 under the pretext of buying a slice of cake, hoping to see him there. Paul is trying to make his way in the big, tough world. Kate is a woman who wants to make a fresh start. <\/strong>Peg still loves Paul, and Paul loves Peg too. What happens when<\/strong> Paul<\/strong> asks Kate for a shocking favor?<\/strong> And what will happen when Kate finds out that Peg is Paul\u2019s true love? An unexpected friendship blossoms, and everyone\u2019s deepest secrets are brought to light. <\/p>
