Following the outstanding reception of their first collaboration last summer with *The Little Prince*, as well as their successful winter performances at the Little Horn, Athens Theaters and <\/strong> Magical Spinning Tops<\/strong> will present Miguel de Cervantes\u2019 *Don Quixote*<\/strong> for children throughout Greece in the summer of 2022!<\/p>\n\n Don Quixote gallops into his imagination on his horse to make the impossible possible, to fight against darkness, and to put love before evil!<\/p>\n\n The play, brimming with incredible humor and sensitivity, celebrates\u2014through the character of the brilliant Sancho, Don Quixote\u2019s faithful companion\u2014 friendship and companionship, devotion to others, and the strength we gain when we all hope together.<\/p>\n\n Through the eyes of the director and everyone involved in the production, the children experience the exploits of a hero who loves life\u2019s adventures and dares to live them despite the obstacles. The Windmills are always here, and we are the Don Quixotes, with our dreams as our armor. <\/p>\n\n This spectacular performance also offers young audience members the opportunity to \u201cencounter\u201d elements of Spanish culture.<\/p>\n\n The costumes and sets for the performance are inspired by the works of painters who were inspired by or lived in Spain, such as Vel\u00e1zquez, Goya, Domenikos Theotokopoulos (El Greco), and Salvador Dal\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n The wonderful music draws entirely on the rich tradition of Spanish composers. The songs are based on traditional Spanish songs that have been specially adapted for children. <\/p>\n\n
