“Don Quixote”<\/strong>! Miguel de Cervantes\u2019 <\/strong>masterpiece will be presented <\/strong>starting November 7 at the Children\u2019s Stage<\/strong> of the Mikros Horn Theater by the Magical Spinning Tops, directed by Dimitris Adamis.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n This is the moment when the theater will defend the dream, because Don Quixote<\/strong>, our beloved dreamer and hero, is coming to show us a new path\u2014one that is brighter and more hopeful!<\/p>\n\n On his horse, he gallops through his imagination, makes the impossible possible, fights the darkness, and puts love before evil!<\/p>\n\n The play, full of sensitivity and incredible humor, celebrates\u2014through the character of the brilliant Sancho<\/strong>, Don Quixote\u2019s<\/strong> faithful companion\u2014 friendship and companionship, devotion to others, and the strength we gain when we all hope together.<\/p>\n\n Through the eyes of the director and the entire cast and crew, the children experience the exploits of a hero who loves the adventure of life<\/strong> and dares to live it despite the obstacles. The Windmills<\/strong> are always here, and we are the Don Quixotes<\/strong>, armed with our dreams. <\/p>\n\n This spectacular performance gives young audience members the opportunity to \u201cencounter\u201d elements of Spanish culture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n The costumes for the performance are inspired by paintings by artists who were inspired by or lived in Spain, such as Domenikos Theotokopoulos (El Greco), <\/strong> Vel\u00e1zquez, <\/strong> Goya, and <\/strong> Salvador Dal\u00ed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The sets also draw inspiration from paintings and create an evocative atmosphere. The exceptional music draws entirely from the rich tradition<\/strong> of Spanish composers<\/strong>.
